Care:
Temperature- grows best in a location with 45 to 85 degrees F.
Sun- grows best in full sun but will tolerate some shade.
Water- Water the tree twice the first week after planting and keep the soil lightly moist around the tree until it begins to put on new growth.

The loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a large evergreen shrub or tree, grown for its orange fruit, its leaves for tea, and also cultivated as an ornamental plant. They can grow up to 25 feet tall and spread 15 to 20 wide. Loquats are unusual among fruit trees in that the flowers appear in the autumn or early winter, and the fruits are ripe at any time from early spring to early summer. The fruits are the sweetest when soft and orange; the flavor is a mixture of peach, citrus and mild mango.
