Dwarf Ponkan Mandarin/Tangerine Tree - 26-30" Tall Live Citrus Plant - 1 Gallon Pot
One of the oldest and most popular mandarin tangerines, due to its rich sweet flavor. Thought to have originated in India, the Ponkan tangerine tree is distinctive for its oblate shape fruit, often having a short “collar” or neck. The sweet, tender, juicy flesh is pleasantly aromatic and has a rich, bright orange color. It is by far our best flavored tangerine. Fruit contains few seeds. Ripening early, it’s a good choice for short season areas. Ripens November to January.
