Product description
We CANNOT ship to CA, TX, LA, AZ, AL due to federal agricultural restrictions
  • Easy peeling, eating orange; also called California Navel
  • Grafting: Grafted – Dwarfing Rootstock
  • Our trees are 26-30" tall and about one year old.
  • We grow our trees in a 4 inch square pot that is 14" tall. The pot is equivalent to a “1 gallon” capacity. This “sleeve” is perfect for shipping because you get the entire root ball and soil rather than “bare root.” Getting the soil with the tree greatly increases your success with your new citrus tree.
  • If temperatures are below 40°F between Florida and your location, I will recommend that we hold your order until the weather is warmer.
  • If you choose to ship before the weather warms, we do not offer a warranty for freeze damage in this situation.
  • We do NOT guarantee plants shipped during freezing weather and we do NOT offer refunds for freeze damage to your plants.
Dwarf trees are grafted onto a rootstock that limits the mature size of the tree to around 8 – 9 feet tall and wide compared to where standard rootstock trees will mature at between 12 – 15 feet tall and wide. The dwarf tree is also more suited to container growing because the rootstock will not outgrow the container as quickly as a standard grafted rootstock.

Description:
People think of Washington Navel Oranges when they think of an Orange. The delicious fruit is easy to peel.

There are a lot of things to love about this fruit-bearing tree. No wonder it's the most popular orange grown in the world. The fruit is sweet and has just enough juice for outstanding fresh eating.

It won't make you wait long for your first crop, because it matures early. It's also one of the first fruits ready for the winter harvest. Only a few varieties of orange like the wonderful pink fleshed Cara Cara ripen earlier.

It's a high yield variety, so you'll enjoy plenty of the rich tasting, easy-peeling oranges. These are large, meaty pieces of fruit that are easy to peel and separate.

No wonder they are a traditional part of all school lunches around the country! They are sweet enough for kids to love, too.

Your bounty can be left on the tree for up to three months without sacrificing their quality or integrity. This makes it easy to harvest as many as you want over the course of the season, which is perfect for the small-time or backyard grower.

Imagine growing your own fresh oranges and having the luxury of harvesting them at your leisure all through the winter months! What a healthy addition to your daily life.

Order today and start eating "really local".

Dwarf Washington Navel Orange Tree

This is my 2nd and last go around for buying plants online. My first experience, from a different vendor, was very dissappointing. When the tree got to me, about 60-70% of the leaves had fallen off. Needless to say, it never survived.
My new tree from the Nursery Center came in great shape and only dropped 2 leaves during the shipping. I paid more for this tree but I think it was handled much better before arriving. It is thriving in our Southern Nevada weather and has new growth all over it. I am VERY HAPPY with the outcome buying online from the Nursery Center!!!
