Mature Size: 6-12' in height with a similar spread at maturity.
Rate: Slow to medium
A good shrub for the border or naturalizing. Excellent for moist soil areas and semi-shady spots, in the full sun it makes a splendid plant in flower and fall color; a harbinger of spring.
Flowers: Greenish yellow, to early to mid-April before the leaves
