Red maples are known for their bright red leaves. They make for a great shade tree and are quite hardy, they will do well in most soil conditions. They are one of the most common and wide spread deciduous trees of eastern North America. Red Maple is adaptable to a very wide range of sight and soil conditions. Its attractive red fall foliage and pleasing form is often used as a shade tree for landscapes, green leaves in summer and red in fall.
