Virginia Sweetspire Shrub - 6-12" Tall, 4" Pot - Itea virginica 'Henry's Garnet'

You are buying 1 Itea Henry's Garnet Virginica Sweetspire in a 4"pot 6-12" in height. Itea Henry's Garnet are easily grown in average, medium to wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Adaptable to shade. Prefers moist, humus soil but tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. These commonly called Virginia Sweetspire are erect, rounded, broad spreading shrub with arching branches. Typically grow to 3-4' tall with a similar spread. Features fragrant tiny white flowers which cover the shrub with bloom in late spring to early summer. Long period of fall color with leaves often persisting on the plants until early winter. Can be grown as specimen, group or mass. Shrub boarders, open woodland gardens, foundations or hedges. Also a good selection for wet location such as low spots or stream margins. Hardy in zones 5-9.
